Yes, Galaxy S3 have 10 mil units sold. I can see your point that those who are holding to switch to Galaxy S3 due to their investment in Apple connectors and adapters will have the their decision made-up with the new connector. Coming from Reuters, the news about new connector has to be more than just a rumor.
Besides I am not sure iPhone 5 will have all the features Galaxy S3 has. It does have some cool features which Apple has had locked to customers.
