UDPATE: I have finally used the Autoscrub and holy shite is all I can say.
My fiances 2011 Rav4 is black (the worst) and has never been clayed since she bought it a YEAR ago. She also has only had it hand washed by me 3 times in that year, and twice through an auto car wash (sacrilege I know, stupid dealerships washing when you go for an oil change).
OK, so rewind to Friday night. Originally, I wasn't going to use Autoscrub on her car, I figured I'd be ok without it. I did my normal wash routine and actually went over her car TWICE with Iron Cut (another great product by the way). When I dried the car off I still found there were contaminants in that lovely Toyota paint.
Saturday morning rolls around, I figure I'll go old school and just use my normal Adams gray clay bar (Phil I also own your blue one! haha) and go over it once with clay, should be fine since I did Iron cut twice right?
WRONG. After going over the entire car still had an audio track when running my fingers over it.
So now I'm pissed, I pull out the car into the driveway, get the hose out, and my PC and autoscrub pad and some detail spray. I lubed up the windows, put my PC on speed 1, and scrubbed up the glass first as directed. Then, on to the paint. Little to no pressure, just running it over the car. Didn't even have to go over panels twice. Rinsed down the entire car, pulled it in the garage to dry, and ran my fingers over.
SMOOTH AS AN ASPIRING PORN STAR. Nothing, I mean nothing left in the paint. And the Autoscrub is absolutely effortless! If you own a PC you have to get one to use, you'll be blown away like I was. I can't wait to use it on the X5 this weekend, and my GLI soon after.
Only thing I wish is that I hadn't iron cut and clayed before Autoscrub, but the way it was so effortless, I'm thinking that just using Autoscrub could have yielded the same results.
One thing about Phil and the guys at DD, when they say something works, it really does!
