Hey, I need your help!

I'm trying to meet up with Ken (Verbalkint) on Saturday on the RI/CT border. I'm coming from the Hartford area. Does anyone know of a good route to the CT/RI border? Looks like I have Rt 2 and Rt. 6 as my options....otherwise I have to drive to the bottom of CT, pick up 95 and drive that way which seems foolish. Any thoughts?
