Failed Rego Inspection

So my X5 failed rego inspection. The scratch in the windscreen, which I told them would cause it to fail did and there was a substantial amount of oil on the underside of the car, some broken bush things and a few other things.
They also picked up that there are water/coolant stains between the engine and the gearbox.
I have advised the dealer of the issues that have arisen and the list that I have compiled and they are coming to pick the car up on Friday to do the repairs and will give it back to me in a week.
I am slightly worried that they will just do band aide fixes to get the car through the warranty period and then I will have to go through getting it all fixed again..
Soo much fun.
On a more positive note, the screen (tv, nav) is looking quite ratty with spots all over it making it hard to see at times, also the cd stacker is jammed with a CD in there, so I have been looking at other units and have found a nice Clarion unit that is compatible with the car. It has GPS, blue tooth, radio, TV, DVD etc. and can be hooked up to the steering controls too.. I will be booking it in for the fitting when I get it back from the dealer.
Hopefully when it comes back this will be the last of the problems and we can go on enjoying the car…
