Depends on what you're accustomed to with the manual mode. I think it's "correct." The Scion FR-S that I test drove last weekend was backwards to me (forward to shift up).

Where did you get your transmission from? I have 144k and tow with it occasionally. I'm just waiting for my transmission to give up.
