Well, it happened to me. Looks like the front driver's side is sagging. Time for new airbags. I know it was only a matter of time, so i am not that bummed about it. From what I read on this forum, the DIY doesn't seem that bad. I think I'll film a DIY video for you guys.
My question though is if I buy a new air spring from Arnott, that is just the spring. If I a buy a new strut assembly, does that include the shock absorber? I don't mind swapping and getting a new SA, as mine are probably original at 112K.
- What are my SA options?
- Can I get Koni or OE? I am unsure of the quality that Arnott is using.
- Should I replace the rear SA too if I replace the fronts?
- Do I need to do an alignment for replacing the front air springs/ struts and rear SA?
- Do I need a GT1 to re-calibrate the front air springs if I replace the OE with Arnott?
- Anyone have a GT1 in the Toms River area?
Thanks!
