Did Tranny/Differentials, etc at 100k, UPDATE
I have an '06 4.4. Did not have any problems with engine/tranny, etc before doing fluid changes/100k service.
Bought from one owner about 6 months ago. Did the usual 100k miles tune up, ATF, all Fluids, Antifreeze, spark plugs, reset Tranny mode, computer, etc.
ATF fluid look normal, no shavings. differentials were dirty.
I've now have 106K miles, done highway speeds of 80-90mph constant for over 1-2 hours, been in LAX traffic for hours parking lot stop and go, 100+ a few times, gone up a mountain a few times up to 5700 feet with AC on all the time. Past 2 months, AC always on 'cause it's over 100 Farenheit.
No problems with transmission, or any other issues. By the way, the manual does say to change the Tranny fluid every 100k miles.
I did not do a third Tranny fluid change 3k miles aftewards, like some here do "to soften up the system."
P.S. I don't use sport or manual shifting on my automatic, I just punch the pedal when I want to pass and go!
