According to the latest
Car and Driver, there will be no 2013 X5d; there will be M Performance packages (not to be confused with the current M Sport package) available for the gasoline versions for 2013. I expect the new model to be a 2014, making its public showing at one of the auto shows next year, with deliveries in the fall.
