Yea you guys are probably right. It is just annoying how the boots are intact, and yet the damn grease leaked out and the cv's are making noise. I thought the CV's fail when debris and moisture is able to get into the joints and grind it all up.

^^ sounds to me like u-joint/steering column. At this point what is not wrong with my front end.
