Sorry for the confusion. I meant to say I had to deal with the same problem. I found out my vehicle was produced prior to the cut-off date of 10/2010. So, I had to be sure to purchase TPMS units for pre-10/10 models.

TwinTurboGTR, I believe you are fine since the production date is 1/2010 (aka pre-10/10) for the wheels and you're placing them on a pre-10/10 vehicle.

Check realoem.com. The pre-10/10 X5 and the pre-10/10 X3 use the same part number for TPMS units.

Of course, your dealer can also confirm this in case you're still concerned.
