Thank you to all that took a look and especially to my fellow knuckleheads that posted BD wishes...I appreciate it.
Good couple weeks: had our daughter and SIL in for a few days, then our son and DIL sent their kid, our granddaughter, down for her annual late summer visit with us. She is 9 1/2 now and a joy to be with, esp minus the parents and that dynamic, as any grandparent here will understand.
Then, over the weekend, V played in our country club's annual Ladies Club Championship and shot a smooth 83, (27 putts) on Saturday, and a brilliant 79, (12 pars) on Sunday! She won Low Net and Runner Up in Gross stroke play! Not bad for someone who only started the game a decade ago! Must be those tips I give her,

Got my Medicare card in the mail, but I feel good, but I also feel like it's the 7th inning stretch and I'm hoping to go the full nine or, even extra innings.
