Mine takes about double the amount of clicks (8 or 9), I've read you need to adjust the star adjuster at the wheel to tighten it up though, I just havent gotten around to it.

Next time I take the wheels off I'll give the adjustment a whirl, I have to pull up a LOT to hold, which i've never done with other cars. I'm sure its loose and if not I can replace the hardware or shoes, which is around 100 bucks in parts if you include new parking brake shoes.
