OEM from eBay? Or like has a BMW logo on it?
Anything but the real BMW ones tend to crap out quickly.
But it's pretty unlikely that it has the same exact problem as the old one.

So how about some specifics?
What does the control panel do?
Can you change the speed of the blower?
