Not sure where you find that Droid X is compatible, and it might be, but I can tell you for sure the Droid X2 is
not compatible. We have 2005 X5 and the bluetooth synched fine with several prior phones, but not the Droid X2. Upgraded to a Droid Bionic and that phone works fine with the X5.
