. Unlike Audi though (got one) they don't make you take your tools out to get at it!
I read up on the regulator issues on this forum and see them on ebay that you can just buy the regulator for ~$90. I do have the Bosch alternator and heard if you are going to replace/repair best to stick with Bosch.
