Sadly, mine really was owned by a 16 year old girl who had it throughout high school. Daddy only fixed stuff when things were really broken. Ugh.

Man, I'm right there with you on the side bolster issue, getting out of those sport seats. I've actually considered lowering the truck so that I can reach the ground and stand up out of the seat.

Sadly, I'm not surprised that your questioning the quality of work done via the records. My local dealer here sucks big time, and I wouldn't trust them with either of my vehicles. Pretty rediculous if you ask me. But maybe in your case it was just NOS parts? Wishful thinking at least.
