I did some searching & found
this thread that mentioned the Bentley e53/X5 Service Manual and the sub-$10 eBay DVD
BMW X3 X5 Workshop Service Repair Manual, but there's not much said about the quality of the information in either. I didn't find much else said elsewhere about either manual either. Anybody care to share their experiences with either item?
Part of me says to go for the DVD option -- not much to lose with it -- but at that price it seems just a bit too good to be true. I own a couple of Bentley manuals (e28 and e32) and am pleased with them, but have heard less than flattering things about some of their later BMW manuals, so I'm a little hesitant to make a ~$90 investment in something that may not be worth it.
Thanks for any thoughts you have on the subject!
