Also, as I was torn between the leasing and financing options the decision that tipped in favor of financing became easy.
My friend bought a 2012 X5M and put 12K miles on it in 6 months, so the 15K miles lease became quickly unattractive in my case. The lack of freedom of wanting to do anything with the car was also against leasing. And finally, my finance note will be less than that of the lease note!

So, all those factors combined made my decision to buy it a lot more justified.
