Yea. It's pretty bad that they shut down something that was working fine.

Rumblings in the intrawebs are saying that they did it to drive adoption of their new car manufacturing interlock - they are pushing Siri to be the in car interface for several car manufacturers... BMW included. Siri, as it worked before, is only partially functional compared to what they've outlined future interaction to be. So, I guess they think we, as consumers, would be confused.
