Cool thread.
1971 Fiat 128 in a gorgeous flat olive green...manual of course. 2 door coupe. Unfortunately, this was not the rally version. Yeah, 0-60 was something like 16 seconds!!!!
I started driving in 1978...the Fiat was a gift and a curse.
The great attribute for the 128, fuel economy, fuel economy and fuel economy. That said, it was also broken down A LOT...which forced me to learn how to wrench on my own car to keep from having to catch the bus to school.
One day on my way to school, a lady pulled out right in front of me. I t-boned her tank...which totaled the Fiat.
That led to me purchasing a 1966 Mustang Coupe with flat ice blue paint with the 200 Sprint engine.
Sold it for a 1971 MGB British Racing Green...first car that I could wash AND wax, spoke rims and black interior with a killer stereo system.
None of those cars had AC, power steering, power windows, cruise control, ABS, etc....wow, times have changed.
