Thank You Terminator, I was looking at the broken piece of sensor which does have 3 conductors. Looking closely now it appears that I did burn through as I see the three bits of copper on the wear surface. 2 have continuity one does not. Regardless, I will cut the cable and join the 2 wires to get rid of the nag. I planned to change the pads BEFORE the sensor but my timing was off by a day. Panama is recently much better for getting stuff but I still avoid dealer costs when I can. The mountains are tough on brakes and tires.
