The previous owner was ready for something new, and they would only give him a hill of beans for it on trade in. Then, just before he was about to sell it, he had some error messages and didn't want to spend one more dime on it, so I offered him a grand for it. He accepted.
He kept in mechanically in shape, having raised his kids in it from birth, so I knew it wasn't a total pile. Unfortunately some kids keyed it and he never got it fixed, so Ive got a paint job to deal with. A friend is doing it front to back for $1500. Of course, Ill be taking all the trim off etc. to limit his time in the booth. Ready to get that done.
