Chevron? Seems like they have a problem with auto stop anyways.
Half a year ago I was filling up my 35d in Cali without using the extension (the pump was normal sized). It never auto stopped and I spilled about a gallon of diesel on the pavement (since I was on the other side of the vehicle throwing trash or something).
