I checked with MINI (Head technician) and apparently it is not possible to enter the alminac as no such menu / hidden menu exists on the MINI cooper 2012 so I cant view this.

Any idea on how to view this? I checked all the MINI menus and all it shows is the MAP Version (Europe 2012) but no OS versions. (I am using factory OEM version)

This is what I would like to test but do you know of any instructions on how to remove the speedo or access the antenna to try a different one?

The problem is that the navigation system never reacquires unless the car is powered down.

Here's a video of the problem in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5hRZ...ature=youtu.be

I tried a tomtom in the same exact area and I have no issues here so it looks like its specific to MINI.
