I read through the entire post too! I used to tinker with my old 97 Kia Sportage. Yeah i've moved up quite a bit from those days but I had that thing on 4" suspension and 2" body lifts and sitting on 31's. Yes.. I hit the trails with it. Fun little truck but lacked an engine.
Lots of luck (and the generosity of basora there) to you for sure! It makes me miss working on car projects. Although it seems from reading around here I've got projects ahead of me with my 09 purchase.
Basora.. I thought your picture looked familiar! I've clicked on your craigslist add LOL Small world!

So hats off to you! I think you have a great attitude towards this project. Keep up the great work, but above all, keep us posted with your progress.
I have a suggestion: I like to propose that members on this forum start offering free, or drastically reduced parts for your project. Give us a list of the things you you are looking for. We might be surprised by how our readers want to help.
Since I am the one suggesting this, I want to set an example by offering you two (2) OEM style 87 (replicas), size 9.5 x 20, FREE! (sorry, I don't have 4). I currently have them listed for sale on this forum, but will donate them to your project. PM me to make arrangements. Here's a pic of the two wheels I am offering. In the mean time, keep up the great work!
