Several times, I've gone past a speed trap doing 80 on a 65 limit, and cops don't follow. Of course, I hit the brakes after I pass them, so to let them know, I'm slowing down.
I don't know if cops hate radar users more than regular speeders. Maybe, a past or present police officer can chime in.

heres my story, im young but been through some hard and painful driving experince in the past.
I put the radar in because i got a good deal on it and just to be alert on the road.
i do not realie on the radar. i dont speed often only go 10-15 over tops.
but its good to have a radar. doing 40 in a 30 long strech and than you hear a loud noise, look up and k band with lines... thinkin wth is it goin off, going further down the road.. about .4 miles down you see a speed trap where a cop already pulled someone over... and you think wow good thing i slowed down after i listened to radar.
