The smarter idea would be to put the money into some preventative maintenance. The cooling system is likely do for some work, suspension too.

Before purchase had it checked by BMW dealership (friend). Car is technically in good condition, previous owner was some rich guy with money to burn
So maintenance was never any issue.
Everybody thanks for the tips, i'll look into it.
