I've found with my Warranty Direct coverage they do not cover the diagnostics charge or any actual reprogramming of the vehicle. Buyer beware. Obviously the factory warranty shielded us from dealing with any of those. I wonder if BMW's extended warranty does either? Do people with 3rd party extended warranties just live with those charges?
