I'm not sure how some folks are finding significant difference in ride comfort when moving up to bigger wheels (at least going from 18-20s). I would think it would have more to do with the tire thats put on the rims. I put Toyo Proxies on my 20s and think they are a very good tire. No complaints about them yet, but haven't had them for a year yet to figure that out (plus, I only use them for Spring-Fall).

Maybe trying a different tire would smooth the ride for some?
