hopefully, ill get the car back by next week. still havent had it for longer than a day. will see all the details when i get the car back, but high level:

bad fuel pressure sensor - replaced. bad "module" to fuel sensor - replaced. several lines were replaced. car still gave check engine lights. testing and conversations with HQ and they decided that they needed to replace the entire wiring harness. needed to be ordered directly from germany (don't ask why, since they are assembled in US - cant you just go pull one off the assembly line?) BMWNA is writing me a check for this month's payment, but is offering nothing else. All part of the same problem as a "first occurence" in their eyes.

Yes, I will bash BMW - yes they are paying a payment, but isn't the right response "well you've had the car for less than a day, why don't you just go get another car?" I dunno, it just seems to make sense...
