Well, I am not a virus, so this is theoretical. But if I was I would kill the host quickly, extracting all that I could. And I would make sure that I had a web page that took credit cards, to attract new hosts, so I had a ready supply of victims. And I would make sure that the potential hosts saw me as a saviour, while casting established science as an amorphous being that is controlled by a ruling elite. That ruling elite would be defined as a secret society that is out to get us all, destroying us just for kicks, because they are bored with their wealth. Aided and abetted by government. And capitalists. Got to have some evil capitalists. And some Nazis. They are bad too. Especially when they use fluoride. Yep, that would pretty much make it easy for me to be a virus, living off of a steady stream of hosts. That would preserve my way of life.
