For those of us that have been around the farm a long time...have to remember sometimes that there's a steep learning curve for noobs...so sometimes the same information needs to get posted over & over again just because there are new people always coming in.
New members coming in is the lifeblood of a forum and is how it remains relevent, successful, and a viable resource. The downside to this is that those that have been around a while...tend to have to repeat the same stuff over and over again, or pointing noobs to where they can find the information they seek, or by explaining the "lingo" or giving tips of what to search for.
Just my simple thoughts on why the links were reposted...it wasn't for the old timers...but for the new fresh bloods.
