That is the control hoax and conspiracy theory that I mentioned above. Yes, I've heard of it. What utter nonsense. It says a lot about the writer.

If ignorance is a liability, then Ms. Miller is seriously overdrawn.

We have a whole new batch of conspiracies to debate now, as introduced in the post above:

* Land use planning by municipalities is a Communist (UN) plot
* Smart meters kill us with their EMF
* Low volume flush toilets are part of the plot
* Energy efficient appliances are part of the plot
* Tiny cars are being forced on us by the UN. And they are ugly, besides.
* Building codes that promote energy efficiency are a way of controlling us
* Bike paths and walking paths are a Communist (UN) plot
* It is all a way of redistributing wealth
* Education, economics, and social justice are secret weapons of the Communist UN. They are everywhere. Trust no-one.
* The Tea Party is our saviour
* Green is the new Red (Menace)

This should keep us going for awhile. Pick your favourite to debate. And we got a whole cut-and-paste poste without a single mention of vaccinations or fluoride!

For any discussion on whether the Republican Party adopting some of the above in their 2012 platform impacted the results in the recent US election, recommend we move it over to the Politics forum. General conspiracy and control discussions could perhaps carry on here. I think that Communist plots in general are probably fair topic for the conspiracy discussion, while the benefits (if any) of Communism should similarly be in the Politics forum. There are all just tongue in cheek suggestions. I am having trouble taking some of it seriously.
