BMW dealers usually just get it somewhere in their wide spe range...AND they'll try and talk you out of whatever you tell them. This is especially tre when the issue arises after its done and you look at the crappy numbers on the alignment sheet. They'll size you up and spin a story: "Oh the tech doesnt want any less ___ as that will hurt your turn in and handling" or "For safety BMW recommended ___" or "Ride comfort can be affected with ___"

Unless you have a BMW dealer that allows you to chat with the mechanic doing the work and can ensure he will set it where you want it, I recommend a tire/alignment store.

I'm with u on this. Just done my alignment yesterday from a reputed alignment shop in sydney. When I had a look at report it had a little more camber on one side and the guy said when I sit in the car that would compensate - ???
I tried to tell them where I want and that's the time they get angry at me. Can't win either way. This is my 3rd alignment attempt within 2 months as the previous shops didn't do a good job.
