Well it depends what area. Manhattan got flooded hard core too. Lower side is still destroyed. Like zombie town.
Put the car on a steep hill, like a parking garage ramp, and see if water drains out. If they clean the car, they dry the car. But they can't dry all the nooks inside the frame. Also, if its warm out, closed windows, you should get heavy condensation inside on the glass.
Also, get under the front seats, and feel the bottom cushion. If you feel salt crystals on the metal, you know what happened.
