Have you EVER serviced ANYTHING in the transmission?!??!?!
Fluid needs to be changed. The BMW nonsense of "lifetime" is a myth. Over time, parts wear, fluid degrades...valves stick, and/or seals between hydraulic circuits leak... this lead to- initially- transient errors like you see, then ultimately failure.
Service the trans- new fluid, filter. Go from there.
The fact that it was a week after you bought it, somebody lied to you. IMO. Did you have the car inspected and read the DME for any fault history? $100 says 'no'
