I have a '09 X6 5.0 w. 40000 mi.

I noticed some squeeking noise (like a loose belt) when starting driving. It went off quite fast. When stoping the car, it reported a transmission failure. After two re-starts, the notification disappeared. Has anyone noticed similar issues to happen?
