if its shaking and shuddering while braking, Tension/Thrust arms are shot, its the bushings that fail. You can either replace the whole arm at about 100 apiece, or the bushing for 35 but you have to press it in and out.

I did the former, replaced with Meyle HD bushings, tight as can be and no more shaking while braking. Also replaced wishbone control arms and ball joints for thrust arms while I was in there. Front end is like new
