Only got to see him twice live: back in the U in the mid 60s, and at the Blue Note when it first opened in the Village, circa early '80s.

For the Kidz: do yourself a favor and cop a couple of his CDs or download some tunes. Fabulous music with he and Desmond, imo.

A good run...off to Valhalla.
