Ok so i went to bmw to get codes the codes are:
008d signal line disturbed
0092 gong tone (T1)
5f43 transmission control interface
4f4b gear monitoring
4f5a shift monitoring
5f3a transfer case malfunction
4f7a signal from transfer box faulty
54c6 vtg oil wear

Of course bmw say needs gear box and transfer case £6000
has anyone had these fault codes before and what do they mean & what was the outcome

Im thinking about rebuilding the transfer case my self can you buy a full kit for this ?
Or would i be better doing both?
