Ok, had an idea and if this is a community perhaps we could work together and group buy a 01-03 X5 4.4i rape it of the parts we need then strip down and sell whats left. So, here's the idea. Call it an X5 mutual fund..

We need front end body parts (Our son rear ended someone) and wasn't insured on my truck. Black would be preferred but we can get it painted if need be. Hood, Front bumper carrier, cover, radiator support, push fan, for & headlights... Oh Joy...

Someone wants interior parts 300
Someone wants the exterior trim 200
Someone wants rear bumper cover and carrier 200
Someone wants tailgate 200
Someone wants a door or two 125 each
Someone wants the engine 800
Someone wants the trans 500
Someone wants the alxe/s 250 ea
Someone wants the wheels 2/300

Windshied, Glass, roof rack, Radiator, etc etc etc.

Just with the above parts we're at 5k ish...Someone may just want to invest for what's left over and the title. Found a VERY clean silver one with blk interior without the motor for 4,500. here local. They will not part it out.
