Happy to help. As a general rule you shouldn't need to charge the battery, however best practice is to fully charge it after installation (not before installation). If you don't do it, certainly nothing bad is going to happen, but like all rechargeable batteries, a full charge is the best practice to get the max out of them in the long run. I'm sure a number of people on the forum will agree. So if you can do it, pick up a good charger (see here:
http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...w-one-fyi.html ) and set it up. If not, don't lose any sleep over it.
