For some reason the cable modem won't work when connected to the router or my laptop. It only works when connected to the desktop directly. If I try a wired connection between the laptop and the modem it won't connect properly. I get the feeling Comcast is doing something wierd. Even before when all was well, I had to clone the pc's mac address to get it to work. What gives?
