1. Woo Hoo!. The mirrors arrived yesterday evening...they were used mirrors purchased off ebay from a seller from Riga, Latvia. Their ebay store name is: bmwelshoplv
I paid a total of $262 (both mirrors + shipping) which was still a few dollars cheaper that the purchase of one new EC/heated/aspherical mirror. The lowest price I could find for
one new mirror here in the states was $270.
I'll post pics comparing the original (left/right) plain/convex mirrors to the aspherical/aspherical set when I can get the garage warm enough to pop the old mirrors out without breaking anything.
2. There was a note in the bottom of the box that said that I was getting these wheels that were originally for someone else who'd been naughty this year...so Santa dropped them off on my porch because I was extra good this year. Did you just tell on yourself?
