I understand that but it's still a nice convenience and would provide some protection from unassuming dealers. Better than not having the option and also if dealer unknowingly wipes your tune you wont have to mail your ecu back. I agree the true recoding is probably a better option so was just posting to see if anyone has this yet and to inform others in. The same boat.

Of course if the motor destroys itself they are going to do their homework but it could save you from regular hassles during maint visits.
