I don't know motordavid. When I drive on 64, 40, 81, 95...I see an awful lot of real-estate that's empty land. However, when I visit NY, LA I see a very crowded space and see your point. I'm sure there are other metro areas that are quite crowded as well. Why? I suspect that that's where the jobs are located. Do you think we could spread things out a bit more? If they built factories in wide open spaces...I think populations would spread out to meet the demands. Infrastructure could be built and that would also be a source for putting people to work.

Honestly man, I don't know. It's just an alarming number to see that many killed in a single year.
