this nation is One Nation under the God, not under Jesus, nor under Allah, nor under Jehova or Buddha... under God, in other words, it is a monotheistic nation... however, the State is SEPARATE from the Church, and it is absolutely irrelevant, if the nation is Christian, Muslim, or Jewish... we equally embrace pagans and atheists...

this is AMERICA - in my family i have very close relatives that are Christians, Muslims and Jews, and we all get along... we do have family disputes, and arguments, but they are NOT based on our religion... In AMERICA (the USA), we are all AMERICANS (not counting the illegals, they are here to "steal" the goods and services that they are not entitled to), and as such, we are one nation...

I totally don't dig the republican position on guns, but understand their stand on freebies to people who don't want to work...

I don't like dems spending like ther is no tomorrow but totally understand the fact that the nation can 't abandon the so unfortunate... this is not wild wild west any longer, and we are not in the jungle where everyone is for himself...

I've been to countries where they went from the socilaist system to capitalism overnight... they are being harolded for the move to capitalism on the international arena, they are good, blah, blah, blah... but i saw with my very own eyes elderly people dumpster diving for food...

i talked to an old lady (gave her $5), and she said, that she worked all her life and was supposed to get the gov-t sponsored pension, and under the "new management" got nothing... she was a street beggar... and in my travels i have seen street beggars that drove mercedeses (check out gypsies in Romania), she was a really poor person, abandoned by the nation... Next door nation, 2 hours drive by car, was a "socialist" country with probably the last dictator left in europe... I was amazed at the law and order there... but the people were oppressed...

I am glad we live in the US, where we do not have either extreme, but it is very important to ensure that we do not roll into one of the two pits...

and forcing women to have the unwanted babies is a DIRECT intervention of state in private matters... only a step away from tyranny that the gun owners are trying to scare us with...


100% ban on abortions - bad...
aborting a baby at 37th week of gestation - bad...

in many countries 12 weeks is the max term for an abortion...

doctors and women should resolve the issue, not bigots and politicians...
