Thing is there is no real high point to see it drip out of. 9 quartz total and you should be prepared to recover and refill about 4. You probably won't get the exact amount, but it should be close like less than a quart. There's not much more to it other than dropping the tranny. As far as the cooling line, I've never seen or heard of it. But I suspect you'll get the same amount because the TC won't be drained through the line. I wouldn't try to get that little extra through that line.
