Not sure if I'm noticing the difference because of the Jeep or maybe the wheel is getting old and losing it's strength. I wonder what would happen if I replaced the wheel if that would make a difference? My X5 is an 07 and only driven from September to May. I did replace a battery a year or so ago.

My 2007 4.8i gets heated up quickly and I frequently have to turn it off after 5-10 minutes because my palms start getting moist.
