I have a 2005 X5 (10k miles) that idles rough. I had my engineand transmission software upgrade to resolve the "clunk" issue earlier.
Searching the archives, a few people had this problem and the dealer root caused the issue to a tolerance issue with the valvetronic levers. I am just wondering if they actually replace the levers or just do something to make the existing one work.
The question I am asking, for those that have had this service done, what did they replace? All the parts should be listed on the service worksheet the dealer provide upon completion of the work.
vinunero: Did you have this sevice done? if not, how do you know the dealer will fix this problem with new levers?
